The stories on this website are imaginative explorations of science through everyday experiences and creativity. The characters, events, and settings are fictional unless otherwise stated.
Many of the characters and backgrounds are inspired by the writer’s own lived experiences and cultural context. This is done intentionally, to preserve authenticity and to avoid misrepresenting or imposing upon cultures, communities, or lived realities that are not personally familiar to the writer. The aim is to tell honest stories rooted in experience, while remaining open, respectful, and inclusive.
These stories may include emotions such as fear, excitement, frustration, or conflict — all of which are part of human growth and learning. They are written to help students connect with scientific ideas in a personal and embodied way. PARENTS ARE ENCOURAGED TO GO THROUGH THE STORIES AND GUIDE OR MODULATE THEIR CHILD’S ACCESS WHERE NECESSARY.
This space values inclusivity, curiosity, and respect. No character or experience is meant to stereotype, exclude, or diminish any individual or group. If you are a student reading independently, you are encouraged to reflect, question, and explore. If you are a parent or educator, you are welcome to use these stories as starting points for conversation.
Science belongs to everyone. So do stories.
